Each puppy is checked by a licensed veterinarian, who determines that the puppies are ready to go live with their new owners. Vaccination and Deworming records are given to our buyers at the time of pick-up or shipped with the puppy. Additionally, your pup will be microchipped and registered, and a complete veterinary health check that includes hips, joints, cardiac and bite/teeth occlusion as well and up to date immunizations.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to have an appointment prearranged at your Vets office for a well check prior to picking up your puppy in order that he/she can be seen within the three-day agreement listed in the contract.
This is done in order to establish the puppy was sold to you in good health. Buyer must make Seller aware immediately of any problems found by their Vet through this exam.
If Buyer fails to have the new puppy examined by a licensed Vet upon possession within this three-day period, they agree the dog was healthy at the time of transfer.
Buyer has been made aware that stress brought on by environmental change can often bring on signs of illness caused by these stressful circumstances. Usually temporary, these still need to be treated with attention especially if there is diarrhea.
A healthy immune system can be lowered immediately through stress, and it is not uncommon for a pup to be happy and healthy with a solid stool here and in less than a week begin to have diarrhea. This is due to the immune system being stressed during the transition from the home environment to his/her new environment.
When a pup has a good immune system in place, his body can keep at bay many parasites such as worms and environmental factors such as Giardia, Coccidia. Once it has been lowered, these if present in the system, will flourish when they get the chance.
It is nothing to be alarmed about and is very common in puppies. The puppies will act normal and usually have a good appetite, but their stool will become soft and sometimes runny.
This will need to be treated if observed and your veterinarian can perform a new stool sample to find out if there is anything present in the pup’s system if symptoms continue in order to give proper treatment.
We are not responsible if a puppy contracts a communicable disease or infection after leaving our possession. Also, this Health Guarantee does not include improper bites, hernias, and any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals or physical injury.
We guarantee our puppies until two years of age against any congenital defects impacting the quality of life. This is defined as a GENETIC abnormality/disorder that will eventually cause early death with a life expectancy of less than 5 years where the disease would progress making euthanasia necessary or require extensive medical care that would ultimately be beyond the cost of the Puppy. If your puppy is determined to have a congenital defect within the first two years of life, we will exchange the puppy with a puppy from a future litter.
We cannot guarantee our puppies against illness or opportunistic parasites brought on by stress such as moving (from our house to yours) or shipping. We also cannot guarantee that our puppies will be “worm-free”, as this is an ongoing process. However, these are easily and economically treated and should be discussed with your veterinarian at your first visit. We recommend worming every month using a high-quality wormer your vet can provide, or you can purchase in most pet stores.
We work with our puppies daily and have selected the parents for their behavior and physical conformity to breed standards, however we make no guarantees of the puppy’s temperament after they leave our premises since we cannot control what happens after they leave.
We are unable to guarantee against recessed vulvas or undescended testicles except in puppies sold with full AKC rights. This is considered a variation of normal and generally corrects itself if given the time to do so. Also fixing the puppy before 18 months of age will void the warranty. Goldens need time for their joints to develop before being fixed since they are a large breed dog.
The breeder acknowledges that the puppy is in good health and is physically sound at the time of sale. It has been treated against tape and roundworms and has been vet checked and received its first set of shots. A second vaccination should be done at the age of 10-12 weeks, and the final set (including rabies) should be done at 16 weeks. The buyer has the right to return the puppy to the breeder within three days after delivery and receive a refund of the purchase price if the puppy is found by a veterinarian to be suffering from any disease.
The buyer agrees that the puppy will not be sold or rehomed for any reason without notifying the seller. The seller will have the right to refuse a rehoming candidate if they feel the home is not in the best interest of the puppy. This includes any research facility, puppy shop, or any place where medical experimentation takes place. Our puppies will be sold only to family homes, including if they have to be rehomed.
If this puppy is being sold as a family pet and does not convey with breeding right, if the puppy is bred, the purchaser agrees to pay the seller ten times the purchase price of this puppy for every litter produced and all associated legal fees that result from this breeding. This does not apply if the puppy is bought with Full AKC registration.
We highly recommend the puppy is spayed or neutered once it is old enough per vet recommendations. Our goals are to provide high quality dogs and only sell the pups with breeding rights with the absolute best of temperaments and physical characteristics to make sure the breed is healthy, and you are getting a healthy lifelong companion.
Under no circumstances shall the Seller be liable to the Buyer or to any third party for a dog that has been subjected to abuse, accident, negligence or misuse. Also, under no circumstances shall the Seller be liable for any consequential incidental or special damages resulting from or in any manner related to the dog. Upon execution of this contract all veterinary care and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Buyer.
